Kasur: Three of a family shot dead at home


Three members of a same family were gunned down in Kasur, Punjab province on Sunday night.
According to details, the firing incident took place near Bhatta Gorian Chowk in the jurisdiction of A Division Police Station in Kasur, Punjab province where unindentified assailants riding on a bike forcefully entered a house and opened fire on residents of a house when they offered rsistance.
As a result, owner of the house named Abdul Hameed, his wife Naila and a daughter were killed while three other children of Abdul Hameed were injured in the incident.
After getting information, rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead and injured to hospital.
A heavy contingent of police also rushed at the scene and cordoned off the area and launched a search to arrest the suspects.

14-year-old girl brutally murdered after being raped in Lahore

Punjab News A 14-year-old girl was allegedly murdered after being raped by some unidentified men in Rehmat Town, area of Manawan in Lahore, said police on Saturday. According to sources, the family of the deceased tried to bury her body without bringing the incident into notice of police.  However, police reached at the scene and transferred the dead body to hospital for autopsy.Police said the girl was strangled to death and torture marks were clearly visible on her neck. Buzdar hints at reopening tourist spots

Punjab News Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Friday hinted at opening of tourist spot, including Murree. According to sources, CM Buzdar also informed that the precautionary measures set by the government are being finalized for reopening tourist spots, restuarants and hotels. Punjab CM also announced new projects for Murree including Kohsar University. He said 22 crore rupees will be used on a water scheme which will provide 6 lac gallons of water to locals.
