Punjab News A boy lost his life while filming a video for popular video-sharing platform TikTok in Bahawalpur, on Saturday. According to details, a boy went to the canal along with his friends, was fell into the Sadiqa canal as his foot was slipped while recording a video in Mandi Sadiq Ganj in Minchinabad, Bahalwalpur district of Punjab and he drowned. The deceased, identified as Muhammad Sufiyan. Police have rushed at the location and commenced investigation into the matter and decided to interrogate the friends of the deceased. Earlier, July 10, a 10th grade student accidentally shot and killed himself while filming a video for popular video-sharing platform TikTok in Abbottabad, police said on Friday. The deceased, identified as Abdul Samad was reportedly filming himself with a pistol when he accidentally pulled the trigger, killing himself. Punjab News Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Friday hinted at opening of tourist spot, including Murree. According to sources, CM Buzdar also informed that the precautionary measures set by the government are being finalized for reopening tourist spots, restuarants and hotels. Punjab CM also announced new projects for Murree including Kohsar University. He said 22 crore rupees will be used on a water scheme which will provide 6 lac gallons of water to locals. Punjab News A minor girl was killed when a kite string slit her throat in Sanda area of Lahore on Sunday. According to details, six-year-old Hareem Fatima was going with her father on motorcycle to Shahdara from Township when a kite string struck her and slit her throat due to which she died on the spot without getting any medical aid. CM Punjab Usman Buzdar took notice of the incident and asked CCPO to submit report in this regard. CM Buzdar also instructed police to investigate the matter and arrest the suspects. Punjab News At least four people including two minor child were lost their lives when the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a tractor trolley in Lodhran on Monday night. According to details, the accident happened in Lodhran, Punjab province where a rashly driven tractor trolley hit a motorbike, killing four people on the spot. Eye-witnesses said, the accident took place owing to the negligence of tractor trolley driver. Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead bodies to hospital. Later, the bodies were handed over to family after completing legal formalities. Punjab News A minor child was dead when roof of a dilapidated house collapsed in Jhang, Punjab province on late Monday night.  According to details, the incident occurred in Jhang where roof of a dilapidated house caved in due to recent showers, burying five members of a same family, including a five-month-old child under the debris. Rescue teams rushed to the spot after being informed and retrieved the dead body of minor child from the rubble and pulled out four others in injured condition. The dead and injured were moved to hospital.  Earlier, on June 10, at least 16 people injured when roof of NADRA office collapsed in Mian Channu on Wednesday.
